As Christians we should marvel at God’s precision, celebrate God’s purity, respect God’s power, rejoice in God’s performance, promote God’s popularity, abide in God’s protection, share God’s prosperity, announce God’s purposes, trust in God’s permanence, depend on God’s promises and rest in God’s peace.
I think we should all find things we can do that will show the lost and unchurched that we are children of God. One way we can do this is to grin more than we gripe, compliment more than we complain, praise more than we pout and carry their burdens more than criticize their actions.
My relationship with Jesus should cause me to stand a little taller, walk a little straighter and look forward to each day. It should produce a skip in my step, a smile on my face and an active love for everyone I meet. It should cause me to laugh more, pray more and give more. It should cause me to complain less, criticize less and gossip less.
